Miranda Ward
Miranda Ward is a native of California and a graduate of Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts, where she earned a B.S. in Political Communication. She is currently writing freelance in Oxford, England, where she spends most of her free time making to-do lists, attempting an eco-friendly lifestyle, trying to read her way through a house full of books (she likes books a lot), and experiencing English pub culture firsthand.
Most recently she has been published in The Santa Barbara Independent, where she won their "life in Santa Barbara" memoir contest, and has a short story upcoming in The Interpreter's House literary journal. Come September, she will be working towards an MA in Creative Writing at Oxford Brookes University.
Writing and research interests include travel (including the philosophy of), politics and culture, and literature.
